Lost Memories of the Past…

Lost memories of the Past...

Discovering the Lost memories of the Past.. @ Moti Talao, Sawantvadi

With the changing seasons,
we also have changed,
only things that remain with us,
are the lost memories of the past…

Left behind on the floating memories,
are the reflections of our downs,
accompanied by our ups,
leaving us to discover the treasures of our past,
like a floating body of water,
are our lost memories of the past…

Those big moments of the past,
after years of fading away,
have become nothing but small ripples along the coast of the centerized dominant past,
left alone to wander about,
to float away on a never sinking raft..

Our body has grown,
so has our bag of memories,
but deep under we can find the wounds still lying in the same spot,
Carrying the burden of the lost memories of the past…

Over the years,
children have been born,
adults have died,
but all that we are left with,
are the lost memories of the past…

Here I am on a lake in Sawantvadi,
with my dad and his elder brother,
watching them discover their lost treasures,
floating on the lake and along the bridge,
dedicated to Kavi Vasant Sawant..
floating among their lost memories of the past…

The forgotten one…

Once when the “little” you, were new to this “big” world,

everything around you seemed to be strange and unusual,

I was right there with you to support you,

because you were the one, my one and only precious pearl.

When you were small,

and when I  was your only friend,

and there was no one else at all,

it was only you at one, and me at the other end.

I was there right by you,

to listen to you, to calm you down,

to guide you when no one else was around.

Gone are those times,

when you used to play with me,

Gone are those times,

when you used to talk just to me,

What has happened to you?

Why have you forgotten me?

This unknown world,

will always remain so,

the time will change, the world will also,

but i will never leave you alone,

will  give you the confidence to fight the unknown,

to bare the pain from the strange known,

to stitch everything that is shattered and torn,

to make you forget your loss- your pain,

to make you cherish only and only what you’ve gained.

I am and will always be there with you,

I have forgiven and will always forgive you,

Time has changed, so has the world,

in this fast paced life, you too have become dull.

I beg you,

just bring everything to a halt,

Just close your eyes and listen to your heart,

you will always find me there waiting to hear from you,

I am no God,

no one special, no book that can be found on a shelf,

just your Inner Voice, your one and only, “Inner Self“….

Essential parts of my change…

Days have swiftly passed,

Nights have quietly swept,

After every noisy sunrise,

there has been a peaceful sunset.

Days are passing by,

with the blink of an eye,

every now and then,

people are entering our lives,

people are exiting our lives,

only few make a mark,

that remains with us every minute, every second…

Places change,

environments change,

people change,

does it mean we too should change?

We are here- all changed,

due to the change that has made the present,

different from our past,

Should we continue to live with this change?

should we forget the chain of changes,

that has led us to this change?

Every change carries a burden,

to every change there is a string of moments attached,

incidents, characters, and a couple of opinions,

arguments, fights and a tincture of memories which are impossible to get detached.

“They” say I have forgotten “them”,

“They” say I am changed,

I say “i” don’t get time,

really do “i”? or am I just ignoring “them”?

We brush because we have to,

we write because we ought to,

then why can’t I remember even once,

to exchange a few words with those unforgettable “them”?

to those who are bound to my chain of changes,

to those who will always be a part of this change,

I have not forgotten “them”

my closest friends Akhil, Ashok,

Amandeep, Mohit and Hussain…

We are here for a reason…..

We are here for a reason,

experiencing different aspects of life,

part by part and season by season…

We are here not just to study,

not just to party, not just to be with a buddy,

but we are here for a reason,

to which only we can answer ourself and not any other living body…

There has to be a reason to be angry,

to be sad, to be jealous and to be happy,

there has to be a reason to be what you ought to be…

we strive and we struggle,

we fall and then we stand,

we lose and then we win, for what?

we do so not just for ourself neither for anyone else,

but for a plain simple reason,

we are here… for a reason…

we fight for a reason,

we cry for a reason,

we demand for a reason,

we lie for a reason,

we do so, for what?

for earning wealth?

to find happiness?

eventually to survive?

but survive for what?

for a reason,

we are here.. for a reason…

Yes we are part of a life cycle,

a cycle where there is always a start to every end,

but we are here for a reason,

not just to deliver but to achieve what we are here for,

we are here… for a reason…

we are here… for a reason…

A Ray of Hope…

Amidst the lonely darkness,
I m searching for a ray of hope,
Entangled in this darkness of problems,
Hoping to get pulled out somehow by an angel with a rope

Darkness is all around,
Hindering my thoughts,
Stopping me from seeing the world beyond,
To cross this darkness is all that I want

This is the way life is,
I have to learn to accept it,
But is this what life actually is?
Forcing me to look down and sit?

I agree I m not alone,
You and me are sailing on the same boat,
But I can see the other side through the edges of the cone,
At those to me who are linkless nodes.

God has showed me a way in,
To find a way out,
I have become deaf to hear any sound,
Blind with the darkness all around

To get a taste of success,
I look up,
And get inspired by a successful person.
Now at this moment to satisfy myself,
I look down,
At a person who is born in and for-living in darkness.

I compare myself,
To a person whose days are same as nights,
For him burden is his life,
There is no way out,
What can he do-yell, cry or shout?

Where there is a will,
There is a way,
Not at the earth’s core,
Not in space,
There is hope- a ray,
Let it be on the top of the hill,
But there is always a way,
Let it be far away,
I can enlighten myself someday,

With hope…

A ray of hope…

A Ray of Hope....
